Bon courage Brigitte |

culotte Explanation: "pantee" or "pantees" or "panties" : basically correspond to "culotte". The last two spellings were used in the fifties and sixties, "panties" still being used today when trying to avoid referring to what most people will refer to as "knickers" or just "pants". I am using British English here as I understand US English here is quite different. "pantee" "pantalets" "pantaloons" : are basically long drawers/underwear which extended below skirts and were worn during the 19th century. "Pantaloons" was also used to describe men's tight-fitting trousers which fastened below the calf or even under the shoe. More currently used to describe baggy trousers nowadays.
