bercée dans cette immobilité Explanation: I really like the word "lull" used in that sentence, so I would have kept it in French in the way of "bercée" as it is as though time has stopped and she is floating, still. And I would switch the ideas around: "stuck" is expressed by "immobilité". I also think the word "torpeur" could fit in nicely. I'd suggest looking at synonyms and finding what sounds best for you. This came to my mind but it's not a literal translation so I'm putting confidence level as medium. I thought my comment could potentially help you expand the range of your possibilities when you take your final decision. |
