Die fünf Grundprinzipien, an denen sich ein Betrieb beim Entwerfen und Herstellen von Schmuck orientiert:

design, comfort, versatility, signature and self-gratification

Irgendwie verstehe ich nicht so recht, was self-gratification hier heißen soll. (Der Text ist übrigens nicht besonders gut geschrieben.)

Ein Wörterbuch schlägt "Selbstbefriedigung" vor, aber das kanns ja wohl nicht sein, oder? :)

OK- das klingt nicht so schön. Aber damit is es gemeint. Sie haben Recht - Selbstbefriedigung (natürlich im anderen Kontext) - aber auch darum geht es. Man befriedigt eben bestimmte Gelüste... zum Beispiel die Lust am Schmuck

Ich komme aus den USA und so verstehe ich das.
