Dann werden in einer Grafik noch Prefrontal loop, limbic loop und motor loop genannt, die (laut der Grafik) alle zu den "cortico-striatal loops" zählen...

Was ist hier mit "loops" gemeint? Geht es um Gehirnareale?

Alexander et al. (1986) beschrieben fünf parallel angeordnete und funktionell unterteilte kortiko-striato-pallido-thalamo-kortikale Schleifen. Sie bezeichneten sie als motorische, okulomotorische, dorsolateral-präfrontale, lateral-orbitofrontale und anterior-zinguläre Funktionsschleifen („loops“). Allerdings gibt es auch Hinweise für eine eher konvergente Anordnung dieser „loops“ (Percheron et al., 1984).
