professional graduate certificate in education Lehramtsstudium / Lehramtsreferendariat Explanation: I personally did a Dual Diploma which involved an English PGCE and an Austrian Lehramt qualification. I've always assumed PGCE and Lehramt were therefore equivalents. I have also seen references to Lehramstsreferendariat . PS I think it's Post graduate certificate, not professional. Perhaps leave the English term, but explain in German? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2015-05-30 13:39:27 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sorry, I've just discovered that both Professional and post graduate certificates exist. They appear to be similar, although the post graduate one can be converted to a masters (i.e contributes credits towards one) whereas the professional one can't. It won't make any difference to your translation though! Reference: http://www.abl.uni-frankfurt.de/48614061/L-News_02_2013.pdf Reference: http://www.evawilden.de/content/referendariat.htm |
