English term or phrase: oblivion coefficient
Patent für einen "estimator of direction of desired signal for estimating direction of desired signal".

The first slot averaging circuit averages the accumulated result of the real number added signal MR outputted from the first symbol number accumulation unit. [...] An average length in the averaging processing in the first and second slot averaging circuits 7201, 7202 should preferably be lower than a speed at which a direction of a desired signal is changed. Also, as a concrete method of the averaging processing, there are methods using a moving averaging and an ***oblivion coefficient***, etc.
