English term

price to sales

English to German Bus/Financial Investment / Securities Asset management
This comes up in a list of value indicators for an investment fund ("average price to sales"). I'm assuming that this is the same as the price-to-sales ratio, defined as "Share price divided by sales per share" or "market cap divided by annual sales". Would it be correct to translate "price to sales" as Umsatz (I found this as a translation under the following link)?

Kurs-/Umsatzverhältnis

I guess your best bet is to translate literally; the German language lacks "established" translations for quite a few indicators which are commonplace in the English-speaking investment universe.

In your case, you're probably looking for "Durchschnittskurs / Umsatz"; the only thing you'll need to check is exactly which sales this refers to (I have assumed this to refer to the securities contained in the fund's portfolio).
