English term
spotting charge
English to German
Law/Patents
Law: Contract(s)
sales contract, fees
The term comes up in a sales agreement under the section "Taxes":
"The Price does not include, and Buyer is responsible for paying, without limitation, any applicable shipping and delivery charges, insurance, and all sales, use, duties, VAT, excise or other taxes; licensing and/or registration fees or stamps; and ***spotting***, switching, or drayage charges at the destination which relate to Buyer's acquisition and use of the Products [...] (collectively, "Taxes")."
The nearest I got to a solution is "trailer spotting charges", but I have no idea what this is, either.
Any ideas?

A charge of $150.00 per car will be assessed on cars that have been placed for loading or unloading and subsequently removed and respotted (set-back) in order to place or move other cars. [HIER: 'Re-spotting']
