Dass "de minimus" scheint sich auf einen inflationsbedingten Wertverlust zu beziehen. Wie kann ich es hier korrekt übersetzen?


Defendant XXX denied Named Plaintiffs’ allegations and any wrongdoing, and asserted defenses based on, among other things; (a) that its business and the assets backing the insurance policies were seized by Communist regimes; (b) that the successors to the governments and entities that seized these assets and expropriated and nationalized businesses of XXX are responsible for the policies in dispute; (c) that the value of the policies in the dispute are **de minimus** as a result of the devaluation of the currencies in which they were issued or were payable; (d) that the courts of the United States of America do not have jurisdiction over these disputes and that any disputes concerning these policies would have to be addressed in European courts under European laws; and (e) that the claims have lapsed or are time barred by virtue of the prescription terms in the policies and applicable statutes of limitations.
