Thank you, d_williams. I think your interpretation is quite valid. I also think the original English text is quite cumbersome "...field (maybe better fields) from which they may recruit..."; I almost think the writer meant the German "Feld" in the sense of a group of people. In any way, it's not clear to me; one could interpret it as "experts in the field (of AML -that's what this text talks about , anti-money laundering and the certification that this company is offering to give these experts an important credential). I told the client that it is hard to really understand what is meant and conveyed two different interpretations, one that sees it as "experts in the filed (of AML) among whom institutions such as banks can choose the ones with the credential, and (my first interpretation) - experts in fields (various fields) from which (= from the fields) they (these institutions) can choose personnel/people who have the certification. |
