Liebe Kollegen,

ich übersetze ein Sitzungsprotokoll eines weltweiten Industrieunternehmens. Dort wird die Managementstruktur des Unternehmens in einem Nebensatz als "silo-oriented" bezeichnet, im Text gibt es dazu keine weiteren Angaben.

Ich habe z.B. folgendes im Netz gefunden:

While the groups had made strides in their ability to work together, key dynamics were preventing them from raising and resolving conflicts more productively. Der Begriff "Silo" mit negativer Konnotation im Bereich Management hat sich auch in D. eingebürgert. Dort wird innerhalb von Organisationen von "Silo-Mentalität" gesprochen. Gemeint ist eine Form des Managements, bei dem keine Reziprokalität des Informationsaustauschs stattfindet. alle Informationen also vertikal von oben nach unten fließen.
