English term or phrase: measurable pact

As part of the XY Program, you are encouraged to work on a relevant, current business challenge with the guidance of your line manager.
You may wish to spend time considering some alternatives and then agree with your line manager what would be most appropriate.
There are a several guidelines that you should keep in mind when choosing a work-based challenge:
It should ideally be a problem that needs solving or an opportunity that needs exploiting
It must be within your direct control and influence as part of your day-to-day role

****It must have a measurable pact on the Business*****

It should provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate personal leadership
You will be given three months to complete your work-based challenge.
It is essential that you select something that is of interest to you and your line manager and has a business benefit.
It is helpful to keep in mind that the challenge is not meant to be a 'special project' that will distract you from your day-to-day work.

Was bedeutet der Begrifft 'pact' in diesem Zusammenhang? Ist damit vielleicht 'impact' gemeint?

Explanation:
Ich vermute wie du, dass hier ein Fehler vorliegt und statt "pact" (ergibt hier überhaupt keinen Sinn) "impact" gemeint ist.
