Ich würde noch allgemeiner bleiben als in den bisherigen Vorschlägen - da es aus dem Original zuerst auch nicht hervorgeht, ob es nun die Muskeln (Muskelzerrung oder ~riss), die Bänder (Bänderzerrung oder ~riss), die Gelenke (Luxation) oder was auch immer sind. Die Erläuterung folgt später, und das würde ich hier im Dt. auch so handhaben.

Hallo Roman,

da im Englischen von "wrenching injury" die Rede ist, würde ich auch in der Übersetzung etwas vage bleiben, "Verrenkung" oder "Luxation" wird normalerweise mit "dislocation" übersetzt und ist ein recht genau definierter Begriff, wohingegen "Rissverletzung" sich nicht nur auf das Schultergelenk selbst beziehen muss (ich hab auf einer orthopädischen Station als Krankenschwerster gearbeitet, man möcht gar nicht glauben, was man nicht so alles anstellen kann).
