Tech/Engineering - Paper / Paper Manufacturing
English term or phrase: tackle
This is part of a refiner, used for manufacturing paper. It comes in a conical shape and is said to be an improvement to former so-called double-disk refiners.

German translation:Gerät
Explanation:
"Tackle" is a word used for ropes, tools, gear, equipment, pulleys, etc.; in this case, I think it actually means "refiner tackle", as "refiner equipment (which must include pulleys?)". If you google both "double disc refiner" and "conical refiner", you will find that there are well over 100 of each; they perform the same function - the conical version, per your context, presumably newer, and more
effective.

It looks to me as if you may not really need to translate the "tackle" at all.
