English term or phrase: conductive fret

The term comes up in a patent on a "LED interconnection apparatus": "The flexible conductive pattern is produced using any conventional means of preparing *conductive frets* such as a stamping operation, for example."

I have found the term on the internet, but only in English and only in patents. Can anyone help?

Wenn der Steg wegen der "stamping operation" etwas eigenartig erscheint, könnte man das "Ding" allgemein z.B. einfach "Bahn" nennen. Also "leitende Bahn" (aber nicht "Leiterbahn") (auf die Gefahr hin, dass ich als zu spitzfindig erachtet werde).

Explanation:
Man redet in diesem Zusammenhang immer von Leiterbahnen. Leiterbund habe ich noch nie gehört!

Also Leitungssteg kann man nicht sagen. Ich tippe darauf, dass hier "conductive strip" und "conductive fret" bedeutungsgleich sind, wobei letzterer Ausdruck eher unüblich is (kommt nur 64 mal vor, und davon wohl hauptsächlich wenn nicht gar ausschließlich in Patenten)

Asker: Vielen Dank für den Vorschlag. Die Autoren haben für Leiterbahnen bisher "conductive strip" verwendet. Sind "strip" und "fret" hier bedeutungsgleich? Könnte man auch "Leitungssteg verwenden"?

Asker: Vielen Dankfür die Hilfe. Ja, bei Patenten wird offenbar viel gegenseitig kopiert, ohne je wirklich die Begrifflichkeiten zu prüfen.
