gold-überzogener = vergoldeter

Explanation:
Also bleiben, rein logisch gesehen, genau zwei Möglichkeiten:

Hmmm, how does KudoZ count time? I entered my answer and then agreed with Francis, but my agreement is recorded so that it appears to precede my own answer [ (22+1) < 24 ].

Egal: Francis\'s \"Musteridiot\" is definitely a strong candidate.

Hochkarätiger Idiot? (I\'m wondering whether \"gold-plated idiot\" is just unusual, as Francis suggests in his note to Asker, or possibly a play on \"24 carat idiot\". But maybe we\'re thinking more about this than the original author did, as translators often tend to...)
