"Vorzugsweise" ist auch prima, leider aber im Kontext zu unpräzise.

Die Häufigkeit mit der man diese Redewendung findet im deutschen ist weit geringer als im englischem, „um das beste Ergebnis zu erzielen, usw“ wäre daher Denglisch, m.M.n.
Am besten, man verwendet etwas anderes, wie oben vorgeschlagen!

  -> I was looking more at the intended meaning, not the individual words. Optimum performance produces the best resultS by definition. I'd say they're equivalent (although some may feel that's stretching a point). Geschmacksache.
