English term or phrase: Shortened Liquid Phase process
It's a process for producing melamine. If anyone can give me a translation, or an explanation, it would be very much appreciated. Is there a commonly used abbreviation for this in German?
Another issue: Abbreviations for resins. UF (Urea-Formaldehyde) resins translate into Harnstoff-Formaldehyd-Harze. Does anyone know the German abbreviation?

German translation:see below
Explanation:
Liquid Phase Process = Flüssigphasenprozess

can't help with the Shortened bit, though in paper production it translates as Verkürzung, so maybe a Kurzflüssigphasenprozess?

The German abbreviation for UF = UFH
ref for LPC and UF: Langenscheidts Fachwörterbuch Technik
Hope this helps a little bit
