(b) Training schedules (curricula)
The PICT curriculum was initially developed by the University of Thessaly in Greece and subsequently adjusted to the needs of the other pilot areas. The initial schedule consists of three parts: a ‘core’ part that is shared by both planners and the public, and two separate parts: one addressing the public and the other the planners. Each part is made up by several modules, designed to cater for different learning levels, abilities and interests, guided by the needs analysis as described in Step 2 above. On top of those groups targeted in all countries, a group of pupils was added in Greece.
The learning materials developed for the training sessions were accordingly organised in three parts:
