Maladi Lyme
Lyme disease was discovered in the town of Lyme, Connecticut, which is transmitted by ticks causing red anular skin lesions at the site of the infected area, fever and chills may result in joint pain, arthritis, and cardiac and neurological disorders.
When we speak about an illness which the original name wears a particular name (i.e. the discoverer's name, the site's name where the illness has been found, etc.... ) we usulally leave the original name; alos AIDS in kreyol : MALADI SIDA, in this case an acronyme, which is different.
I hope anyway this helps you.
