durries Carpet/ दरी/गलीचा/कालीन Explanation: This is a wonderful example of the mixing of languages. The english term "Carpet" became "दरी/गलीचा/जजीम/कालीन" in hindi. Now those hindi words are adopting in english language and दरी becomes "Durry" and we are going to translate the "english" term in hindi!!! Isn't it interesting to watch the circular way of a language? |
