A szöveg endoszkópiás készülékről szól. Az end-to-end, ...stb. jelentése a problematikus, mert az általam fellelhető adatokban mint "technológia" szerepel, de angolul hagyva. Szerintem kell legyen rá magyar szó.

Bár valóban berzenkedünk az idegen szavak ellen, az orvosi nyelv egyszerűen átvette az angol kifejezést, ezért én nem fordítanám le. Az egyébként latintól hemzsegő műtéti leírásokban is így szerepel, pl.: "a resecált jejunumkacsot end-to-side rávarrtuk a colon ascendensre". Nyelvileg ez, ha lehet, még rondább.. Néhány cikkben szerepel a magyar próbálkozás, ez pedig egyszerűen a szolgai fordítás, így, ha akarod, írhatod ezt is: "vég a véghez", "vég az oldalhoz", "oldal az oldalhoz" anastomosis.
