ciao Flavia, ti ho fatto quella dommanda perchè Arthouse è anche un movimento che supporta gli artisti diversamente abili, ma nel tuo caso credo si tratti dei film d'autore. se dai un occhio nel gloss PROz EN-any language, vedrai che la domanda è stata fatta in altre coppie linguistiche ed viene sempre suggerito "film d'autore".

che riporta: quattro sono stati i cinema “arthouse” (quelli che programmano film d’autore), ad aprire i battenti nel 2003

ho trovato quanto segue, vedi un po':

Il termine “cinema indipendente” viene spesso utilizzato in modo scorretto al fine di descrivere film “low budget”, conosciuti anche come “arthouse”, che, nei loro contenuti non hanno le caratteristiche commerciali dei grandi circuiti di distribuzione.
i film arthouse sono anche film di nicchia
