Salve cari colleghi,

il paragrafo completo contenente la frase a me 'oscura' è il seguente ed è tratto da un Annual Report per il 2010 di una compagnia di assicurazioni:

The main risks identified by the group is the deterioration of technical results as a consequence of poor pricing, inadequate control of accumulation and catastrophe (Cat) treaty capacity exhaustion, European windstorm and other catastrophe event losses and large loss severity and frequency deviation.

Ora, in rete ho trovato una traduzione (alquanto letterale ma credo attendibile, visto che era tratta dagli atti di un convegno in materia) di "treaty capacity", con "capacità relativa ai trattati", perciò il mio tentativo sarebbe il seguente:

"Il rischio principale identificato dal gruppo è il peggioramento dei risultati tecnici dovuto a una tariffazione scadente, a un *controllo inadeguato dell'esaurimento della capacità relativa ai trattati di accumulazione e catastrofi (Cat)*, ...."

La frase tra asterischi per me non ha molto senso così com'è, ma non riesco a venirne a capo, perciò chiedo umilmente il vostro preziosissimo aiuto.
