Ciao Chiara.Credo che la traduzione esatta dipenda dal tipo di sistema a cui si riferisce la frase. Se e' un circuito elettrico e , ad es. hai due "fili" si tratta sicuramente di scambiare il collegamento dei fili.Se invece si riferisce a cose tipo manopole si intende ruotare ( per es la sintonizzazione di una radio.Se si tratta di pulsanti si traduce meglio con accendere ( switch on )nel senso di accendere i terminali.Ciao
