agree  Oscar Romagnone: Ciao Gaetano: userei "sostenere" per il successivo "prosecute" e, in ogni caso, sceglierei il verbo "appoggiare". Tradurrei poi "any" con "alcuno", essendo la frase negativa. (appoggiare deliberatamente in alcun modo)
