The General Duty Clause places a duty of care on both employee and employer. The law requires employers to provide their employees with a workplace free of known hazards.

La General Duty Clause applica il concetto di duty of care (il dovere di prendersi cura di cose o aspetti) sia al datore di lavoro che al dipendente. La legge richiede ai datori di lavoro di fornire ai propri dipendenti un posto di lavoro privo di rischi noti.

Questa General Duty Clause ha una traduzione/spiegazione comprensibile in italiano? Io non ho trovato riferimenti.

In Italia c'è il Contratto nazionale di lavoro, che stabilisce i rapporti fra datore di lavoro e lavoratori : non so se questa legge americana può essere definita un 'contratto'. Certamente, non mi sembra essere fra le parole che possono tradurre il termine 'clause'.
