io conosco questo termine solo con il significato di "indicizzazione" o "aumento progressivo" ecc.
In questo contesto assume un significato diverso però...Infatti dai capitoli precedentemente tradotti sembrerebbe quasi che "escalation" significhi passare la decisione in merito ad una problematica irrisolvibile da un guppo di lavoro, ad esempio, ad un comitato tecnico. Questo mi fa pensare alla struttura gerarchica della cooperativa, per cui escalation renderebbe l'idea di "un'ascesa verso l'alto" di questo problema sui cui urge prendere una decisione....Secondo voi ha senso il mio ragionamento???

Volevo aggiungere che in escalation è implicita una nozione di gerarchia, per cui la \"riassegnazione\" viene fatta a persone di grado o livello superiore.
