: raramente le imposte si abbattono, ma si riducono. Abbattere significa in questo caso abolire totalmente, che non è abatement.UN SITO NON E' MAI UN VANGELO.

: sono spiacente Giovanni ma devo dissentire..."abbattimento fiscale" è un'espressione usatissima, sinonimo di "sgravio fiscale" e peraltro "abbattimento" NON significa abolire totalmente....

"abatement" è "diminizione, riduzione" su un qualunque normalissimo dizionario d'inglese. "Abbattimento" mi sembra poco adatto e, come notato da qualcuno, improbabile.
