Sono abbastanza d'accordo con te Laura. Però non mi torna la traduzione dell'intera frase.
Ci provo saltando la parte iniziale:
"... che era in contatto con qualsivoglia componente (...........) degli elementi strutturali dell'angioplastica durante la procedura iniziale"..
Se ho ben tradotto, la traduzione suggerita mi sembra un po' ridondante (i componenti sono già degli elementi strutturali!).
Ti confesso che "hardware" in questo contesto lo tradurrei volentieri (forzando) con "tecnica/metodica".
Che ne pensi?
