Essendo un termine inventato, forse dovresti usare un giro di parole per descrivere queste porte, per es. "...di porte in legno che si sollevano orizzontalmente (a sollevamento orizzontale) tali da formare una tettoia". Il termine basculante usato per le porte dei garage non credo vada proprio bene in quanto la porta una volta sollevata non forma una tettoia ma rientra.
