Quello che mi crea problemi non è tanto il senso della frase, ma quel pronome "they". É riferito alle "repro houses" o "a dei macchinari"? Infatti non mi piacerebbe molto nella traduzione legare il concetto della semplice pressione di un pulsante ad un'entità astratta. Mi aiutate per favore?

A mio parere "they" è riferito a "repro houses". La frase mette in enfasi "repro houses" dicendo che sono dei macchinari che hanno avuto un particolare (especially) successo (rispetto magari ad altri prodotti dalla stessa azienda)quindi "they " dev'essere riferito a queste e non ai macchinari in generale.

A mio parere "they" è riferito a "repro houses". La frase mette in enfasi "repro houses" dicendo che sono dei macchinari che hanno avuto un particolare (especially) successo (rispetto magari ad altri prodotti dalla stessa azienda)quindi "they " dev'essere riferito a queste e non ai macchinari in generale.
