In this case, it was just to write a script for another artist, to which I initially said no — then by a series of events I wound up doing it. I had interviewed Lew Sayre Schwartz in my Egomania #1. One reviewer incidentally wrote that he wasn't interested in finding out about old Batman ghosts, which seemed to me an odd response. I had a bigger picture in my head for what I was supposed to be doing with Egomania. But it occurs to me that if I explained it I would just appear nuts.
