Tech/Engineering - Safety / Hydroblasting and Water Pressure Standard
English term or phrase: Does not include static head from a liquid level
Si parla di standard globale per la sicurezza sul lavoro.

Non riesco a comprendere l'intera frase... e ho la deadline per il 30 nov. alle 11.30.

5.10 Work on Pressurized Equipment
A. Hydroblasting work shall not be permitted on pressurized heat exchangers. Both the shell and tube sides of the exchanger must be de-pressurized. ***Does not include static head from a liquid level***, with a maximum pressure less than 7.5 psig (0.5 bar).
B. Blow-through steam (or other utility such as heated air or hot water), may be used on the exchanger shell to facilitate cleaning, but must be continuously vented to atmosphere.
C. Exception for Refrigeration and HVAC systems: To reduce potential contamination issues from moisture and inerts being drawn into a refrigeration system, the tube side of refrigeration equipment may be cleaned once the shell side pressure is reduced to 5 psig (0.3 bar), or less.
1. A pressure gauge (or some other means of checking shell side pressure) shall be installed during the cleaning process, and it shall be monitored to ensure the shell side pressure is not increasing and remains steady for a minimum of 1 hour before start of hydroblasting.
2. An increase in shell pressure would typically be the result of a refrigerant block valve leaking by. If such a pressure rise is detected, steps should be taken to reduce (and maintain) the shell side pressure at less than 5 psig (0.3 bar) before cleaning work is allowed to start/continue.
