per main lug ho finora tradotto "morsetto di alimentazione" - scritto in questo modo secondo voi si tratta di morsetti di alimentazione adatti per due fili diam. 1mm?

The English is very garbled, but I would tend to agree with your second interpretation. However, it occurs to me that 1 mm dia is unlikely given the 60A input rating. A 1 mm wire may be sufficient to fry a fishfinger, but I think it would fail if exposed to such a high current. If you can't speak to the author it may be preferable to leave the specification as is.

qui è stato proprio difficile attribuire i punti, perché Derek con la sua risposta mi ha fatto venire il dubbio di aver sbagliato completamente una cinquantina di righe considerando il simbolo del diametro come diametro anziché come zero, e Sergio ha fornito l'unità di misura giusta. Dopo aver avuto questo dubbio ho fatto vedere questa parte del testo a un tecnico elettricista che realizza impianti industriali il quale ha confermato che si trattava senza dubbio di 10 e non di diam. 1 :-) e dallo schema elettrico ha confermato che si tratta di un morsetto. Spero tanto che Sergio non me ne voglia e che resteremo amici! ciao a tutti e buona giornata

Explanation:
Secondo me sì, main lug è usato come aggettivo di dimming panel. Ma anche così,sembrerebbe che "1Ø-2" si riferisca a "Wire Main Lugs", il che porterebbe a considerare corretta la tua traduzione.
Farò ricerche + approfondite e cmq aspetta contributi più utili del mio.
