フォルム的・物体的な格差

「問題」という言い方に合わせれば全体は「~扱うことでフォルム的・物体的な格差格差が排除されてしまうという問題、この問題は~」というような言い方になるでしょうか。

要するにform(カタチ)としての格差の外にもobject(モノ)としての格差があるということでしょう。少なくとも、「客観的な」何かを捨象するというのは変だと思われます。

冒頭の“The problem”は後に出て重複するので訳す必要はないと思います。また、“intended”は何が意図されているのかを明確にした方がよいのではないでしょうか(私自身は「描く対象とはしているが、実際にはキャンバスにそのとおりの形で描かない」という意味で“intended”と強調しているのだと思います)。“between”も何と何の間かをはっきりさせるべきでは。物の形(form)とその間の空間(interval)は、形の点でも「物としての性格」の点でも当然異なりますよね。そのことを言っているのではないでしょうか。一案ですが。
