lacus briotus

Obviously plastic dustbins and special lorries with automatic loading gear were not common in ancient Rome! ;-) All the same I have not taken too many liberties with the language as 'lacus' can mean 'bin, tub, container' as well as 'lake' or 'lime-pit' and 'briotus' is used for anything with 'two wheels'. I hope this helps!

I must have had crossed fingers when writing my suggestion! Yes, Leonardo is correct, it should read: "lacus birotus". My apologies, I hope it is not already tattooed or irredemiably carved somewhere ;-)

agree  Leonardo Marcello Pignataro (X): I think you meant to write "birotus" (bi - rota > two wheels). :-)
