back-office

Definition from Komuniti Sumber Terbuka:
Definition:

Note:

95% of websites in Malaysia adopt the English term "back office" directly, which some variations (very rare) are seen. Example below illustrates the use of the term "Pejabat Pentadbiran", which literally means "Administration Office". Note that the author had to use the English term in brackets, a clear indication that the term is not widely used. Thus direct adoption of the English term is a much safer and widely accepted approach.

Example of "pejabat pentadbiran":

Malaysia sekarang menduduki tangga ketiga selepas China dan India dalam senarai negara - negara yang paling berdaya maju dan sesuai bagi aktiviti kongsi perkhidmatan(shared services), sumberan luar (outsourcing), operasi pejabat pentadbiran (back office operations) dan pusat panggilan serantau (regional call centre).
