I am re-posting this question.

Use for instruction in Sat-Nav device or GPS. How to differentiate between:
1. bear left/right
2. keep left/right
3. turn left/right

From my understanding, the word "bear" is used when driver reaches an intersection such as Y-junction. The driver needs to head toward left/right. The angle of the intersection is less than 90 degree.

"keep" is used when driver happens to reach at a junction but the instruction is to prevent him from turn left/right. GPS wants him to go straight. Also to prepare driver to make turn/bear.

"turn" is used when at a right angle junction such as T-junction.

My confusion is the word "bear" is sometime can be both meaning :keep and turn.
In my opinion, the translation for these three words are

1. bear left/right =menuju ke kiri/kanan
2. keep left/right =ikut kiri/kanan or terus memandu di kiri/kanan
3. turn left/right =belok ke kiri/kanan

I'd like to know what others' opinion regarding this. Is my understanding about these terms correct?
Thank you.
