felony warrant

GBK English to Norwegian Law/Patents Law (general)
Definition from eHow:
A felony warrant is a legal document authorizing the apprehension of an individual suspected of a felony crime. Exactly what constitutes a felony can vary by jurisdiction. However, once felony warrants are issued they are not restricted by jurisdictions.
Example sentences:
On January 4, 2007, Verba was arrested on a felony warrant for writing bad checks ($50,000) at the Wynn Resort Hotel/Casino in Nevada (Wikipedia )
A felony warrant is generated when a judge has been presented with enough compelling evidence to name a person as a suspect in a criminal offense. (Arrest Warrant Guide)
"Temporary Felony Want" may be entered when a law enforcement agency has need to take prompt action to establish a "want" entry for the apprehension of a person who has committed or the officer has reasonable grounds to believe has committed, a felony and who may seek refuge by fleeing across jurisdictional boundaries and circumstances preclude the immediate procurement of a felony warrant.
