English term

I dare you to (do it)!

English to Persian (Farsi) Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama IRIB2: مهمانان ویژه
Greetings,

How do you say “I dare you to (do it)”, please?

I wonder if you can use ‘جرئت’ here.

The context was lovers’ banter: the girl said to the man, “Okay, now propose to me so I can say no.”

The man replied, “I dare you to say no!”

Best wishes, and many thanks,

Simon

An orthographic note:
Both جرأت and جرئت are correct, but the second form seems to be more preferable.
