Note: XXX should be used specifically on the ledger board and NOT on deck joists. It should not be walked upon. Only YYY deck protector has anti-skid coating.
YYY deck protector where the metal connectors/fasteners (such as joist hangers, nails and screws) come into contact with the pressure-treated wood (ACQ, CA and ACZA), the membrane creates a barrier between the copper (in the wood) and the zinc (in the metal).
