tara Explanation: We have netto+ tara = brutto. How tapering became tara or vice versa, I cannot fathom. Tara (arab. طرح, wym. tarha – potrącenie) – masa opakowania towaru, różnica między całkowitą masą towaru z opakowaniem (masa brutto) a masą towaru bez opakowania (masą netto).
