Czy tu chodzi po prostu o pobranie próbki kości? Bo "trepanacja" w tym kontekście brzmi chyba kiepsko.

He reported he had been feeling well but in view of the low neutrophil count, bone marrow aspirate and trephine were performed which by report confirmed a diagnosis of hairy cell leukaemia with 90% infiltration in the trephine being comprised of cells with a phenotype that were CD19 positive, CD103 positive, CD25 positive and CD11c positive. Cytogenetic abnormalities revealed some cells of the –Y and cells of the +15.
