"Standard price" to cena ewidencyjna ustalana na podstawie ceny wiodącego surowca czyli buraka cukrowego (potrzebna do ustalenia kosztu produkcji produktu gotowego).
Jeśli kupują trzcinę cukrową, to cena jest wyższa od ewidencyjnej i stąd potrzeba rozliczenia różnic. A potem na podstawie faktycznego zużycia buraka i trzciny wyliczają nową cenę ewidencyjną.
