Mildio do Tomateiro

O míldio é um problema fitossanitário de origem fúngica que ataca todos os órgãos do tomateiro: folhas, caules e frutos. Os primeiros sintomas caracterizam-se por manchas nas folhas, com forma irregular e aspeto húmido. Com o desenvolvimento do fungo, as manchas tornam-se castanhas e secam. Nos frutos, as manchas têm forma irregular e com pústulas verde-acastanhadas. Em condições de humidade e temperatura elevadas, o fungo pode frutificar, surgindo na página inferior das folhas a esporulação, com aspeto de bolor branco. Nestas condições, quase a totalidade das folhas pode ficar afetadas rapidamente, podendo destruir completa-mente a cultura em poucos dias.
