Carefully remove each TIF hydraulic hose by positioning a drain pan under a hose connector and then slowly loosening the hose coupling.
Allow any fluid pressure to dissipate and the expelled oil to collect in the drain pan.
When hydraulic pressure is relieved within the hose, continue to loosen and remove the connector.
Cap all hoses and ports.
Disconnect the short TIF strut from the TIF bearing assembly and the TIF pivot assembly.
If necessary install two lifting rings in the torque input fixture bearing assembly and rig the assembly for lifting.
Remove the capscrews that secure the TIF bearing assembly to the table.
Lift the torque input fixture bearing assembly clear of the vibration table and set aside.
Restrain or support the TIF delta crank and vertical strut assemblies to prevent them from falling during the removal process.
With the TIF delta crank and vertical struts restrained/supported, disconnect the two parallel struts between the TIF pivot assembly and the TIF assembly.
Remove the capscrews that secure the TIF pivot assembly to the table.
Lift the pivot assembly clear of the table and set aside.
Rig the torque input fixture for lifting using appropriate straps and an overhead lifting device.
Remove the T-slot bolts that secure the TIF fixture to the T-slot table or bedplate.
Lift the TIF and set it aside.
If necessary, remove the torque input fixture HSM.
Residual hydraulic pressure can produce a high pressure spray.
You could be cut by this spray or hydraulic fluid could be forced into your skin.
Do not start this procedure unless the system has been isolated from hydraulic pressure for at least 20 minutes.
Always be cautious when you loosen any hydraulic connection or remove bolts or screws from any hydraulic component.
Always allow fluid pressure to dissipate slowly until completely vented before continuing to loosen.
Always wear gloves and appropriate eye protection.
Remove any control cables and pressure/return hoses that are still attached to the TIF HSM.
Cap any ports that are exposed.
Use the lifting rings installed in the top of the HSM and suitable straps to rig the torque input fixture HSM for lifting.
