Asker: Da, acum parca se clarifica peisajul. Cand mai aveti o clipa libera va rog mult sa-mi spuneti daca e posibil exact ce termen/expresie in limba romana corespunde fiecareia dintre expresiile/actiunile din limba engleza. Multumesc mult.

luaţi piciorul de pe acceleraţie

atenţie ... lay off the gas înseamnă tocmai opusul, adică să eliberezi acceleraţia, nu să o apeşi ...

pentru a schimba treptele de viteză, dai drumul la acceleraţie (adică iei piciorul de pe ea), apeşi ambreiajul până la capăt şi apoi schimbi treptele de viteză
