E un joc de fotbal în care trebuie să înscrii. Se numeşte "Really Bend it like Beckham" hence the expression. "Bend the ball" ar fi loviturile puternice sau cu efect care sparg zidul de apărători. Sensul expresiei e de a înscrie goluri din situaţii mai dificile, după mine.

Ah, se pare că la origine e o casetă a individului în care îşi demonstrează măiestria.
Poate ar fi mai potrivit şi mai neaoş "a scoate prin tavan" sau ceva de genul ăsta?
