agree  mihaela.: Ba chiar asta este traducerea corecta. Structura de gipscarton se prinde pe acesti stalpi / profile. Tot de acesti stalpi, cu rezistenta mult mai mare decat a gipscartonului, se prinde si sistemul de sustinere a televizorului.

Cred ca este vorb despre pereti realizati din panouri fixate pe structuri usoare de metal/lemn.

Metal Stud est une sous-structure en métal léger (lisses et montants) pour des applications universelles:cloisons, doublages et faux plafonds. (cred ca se intelege chiar daca e in franceza, este vorba de structuri metalice usoare).

Depinde exact cum interpretati "metal/wood". Eu am considerat ca se refera la pereti realizati din metal SI lemn si nu metal SAU lemn, si in aceasta situatie nu era nevoie de diferentiere.
Cele mai multe referinte pe care le-am gasit erau despre " metal & wood stud " .

Daca este vorba insa despre "metal stud" si " wood stud" atunci lucrurile sunt mult mai simple, este vorba despre profile metalice (metal stud" si profile de lemn (wood stud) care sustin peretii din panouri (la constructiile usoare ca acelea care se fac pe-afara si mai putin in Romania)

Asker: pai si daca le zic pereti din panouri cum mai diferentiez intre wood si metal? si cum fac sa nu-i confund cu plasterboard- pereti din panouri de rigips? m-ar fi interesat o denumire consacrata...
